ROCK HILL, S.C. — A teenager was arrested and charged after a fatal fire in Rock Hill, York County officials said Tuesday.
Jacob Matthew Morgan, 17, was arrested and charged with one count of murder and one count of first-degree arson after the fatal house fire Friday on the 2500 block of Catawba Church Road in Rock Hill.
An investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division, the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the York County Fire Marshal’s Office and the York County coroner determined that Morgan intentionally set fire to the mobile home in the Apple Valley Mobile Home Park.
