Russian Genius Digs Up Dead Bodies To Play Dress Up

The face of a genius

A Russian intellectual who speaks more than a dozen languages and lectured at museums was found to have an unusual hobby -- collecting corpses. Anatoly Moskvina, 45, lived with 26 corpses in his three-bedroom apartment in western Russia, according to MSNBC, which sited local Russian media. The bodies were all of women aged 15 to 26.

It stated that Moskvina found the corpses by visiting graveyards in the middle of the night and digging up the decomposing bodies. He then allegedly dressed the corpses as dolls and teddy bears in dresses and stockings. Moskvina visited about 750 cemeteries before being arrested, the Daily Mail stated.
His parents eventually visited their son, who was living alone in Nizhny Novgorod, and found the bodies. Fox News reported that the man's neighbors described him as a 'genius'. It is not clear if the neighbours knew about the dead women's bodies inside the apartment.
